We are currently recruiting into two roles; Senior Youth Worker and Community Engagement Worker.

Senior Youth Worker

Surrey Clubs for Young People are looking for people who are passionate about the personal, educational, creative and social development of young people and can use their professional skills to help prevent and lead young people out of a criminal life.

We want you to bring your passion for positive change in your community and your exceptional personal skills to communities in Surrey

4 – 16 hours in 4-hour evening sessions per week are available.

£13.00 per hour and 20p per mile petrol.

All applicants must have their own transport.  

Positions are open across Surrey. 

This role is subject to a DBS check. 

As a Senior Youth Worker you will be friendly, cheerful, positive and self-driven, able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish positive relationships with children and young people, good organisational and administration skills.  If sports, arts, music production, photography and film making are hobbies, we can use these skills to delivery fun and meaningful activities.

You will be part of a supportive environment where we help young people discover exciting new ideas and activities, laugh, learn, experiment, make mistakes and thrive all in a safe environment.

Community Engagement Workers

We need enthusiastic, dynamic fun people to help us with our community engagement. This is a role for people who enjoy variety, attending events, meeting and talking to people.

You will need great communication skills and be both self-motivated and a team player.   We’ll support you with training and the opportunity to have fun whilst helping local communities. Your work will generate interest into volunteering or fundraising on behalf of our charity and the youth clubs that we support.

Evenings and weekends, 4 - 16+ hours a week. Flexibility is key within this role.

£11.00 per hour and 20p per mile.
